Candida, What is it?

Often people are unclear on what candida is or they may be totally unfamiliar with the term. It is important to understand what candida is and ultimately how to clear it and support your body to stay in balance. Candida is at epidemic levels yet many may not know they even have candida.

We all have yeast organisms within our gut. Yeast is part of the natural world and serves to break down our bodies once we past on. Sounds like a lovely topic however it important to understand how yeast works in our bodies and how it can transmute into a candida condition. Environment is of up most importance in whether a one cell yeast organism will mutate into a candida condition. A harmless yeast cell can under the right conditions turn into a candida parasite. A rule of thumb is that where there are heavy metals you will find candida proliferating. The truth of the matter you would be hard pressed to find anyone who did not have some level of heavy metals within their bodies if they have a candida infection.

We are Human Beings not Human Doings

I am really writing this post for myself and I know I’m not alone in our chronic desire to fill every minute with doing. Doing can be quite satisfying because you feel good about what you are accomplishing and our accomplishments can contribute to our feelings of increased self esteem. I know I love the feeling of crossing things off my to do list. However it is worth checking in from time to time to see what lies behind our doings. Are we motivated out of fear or out of a pure place of joy? I find when I have to fill every possible moment with what I deem as productive behavior that is a sure way to burn out.

It is important to pay attention to chronic busyness. Are you afraid that if you stop, smell the roses and just rest a bit that your life may fall apart? I know there have been times in my life that I felt I had to carry the weight of the world on my shoulders. Of course this was self imposed. The more I felt I had to do the less my life would work.

The Life Enhancing Benefits of Water

The simple act of drinking enough of quality source of filtered water will greatly support optimal health. Water makes up more than two thirds of the weight of the human body, and without it, humans would die in a few days. The human brain is made up of 95% water, blood is 82% and lungs 90%. A mere 2% drop in our body’s water supply can trigger signs of dehydration: fuzzy short-term memory, trouble with basic math, and difficulty focusing on smaller print, such as a computer screen. Mild dehydration is also one of the most common causes of daytime fatigue. An estimated seventy-five percent of Americans have mild, chronic dehydration. Pretty scary statistic for a developed country, where water is readily available through the tap or bottle.

Not Your Grandmother’s Cleanse

Invariably when I bring up Nutritional Cleansing most people will assume an arduous process that limits your lifestyle and potentially has you in the bathroom all day. The good news this is not the case. So I bring this up early in the conversation to calm people’s fears. I have done numerous types of cleanses over the years given my health history and my desire to be proactive with my health. I always received a tremendous benefit however I knew that most the programs could not be sustained over any period of time.

Thank God, that I discovered Nutritional Cleansing over seven years ago. No more feeling tethered to the bathroom and cleansing symptoms were mild or not all all. Our bodies are designed to naturally cleanse and detox themselves and under normal circumstances with just periodic support through the seasons of year that would suffice. However, now more than ever we need to be gently supporting cleansing on a daily basis.

My Personal Health Journey

My personal story with complications of mercury poisoning due to mercury amalgam fillings, candida which lead to a myriad of health issues from poor digestion to challenges with my hormones. My health journey was as much a spiritual journey as well as physical one. My goal in this blog is to provide leading edge nutritional and cleansing support for optimal health.
