Forgive Your Way to Optimal Health

Forgive Your Way to Optimal Health

Forgive Your Way to Optimal Health

Forgiveness and living from a place of love is the greatest of healing states of consciousness. There is much we can do in terms of nutritional supplementation, exercise, energy work however when we distill healing to it’s essence it comes down to forgiveness. Until we forgive ourselves and others we are going to be consuming great amounts of energy in managing negative emotions from shame and blame. I believe until we truly forgive ourselves and each other we will eventually manifest disease (dis ease) in our bodies.

Another benefit of forgiveness is that you can start right now and there is no class, or product to purchase. I’m not saying there is not a place for supplementation, and all the rest however without the daily practice of forgiveness we will find ourselves not truly feeling fulfilled and free to be our best selves. Often it has been said, that we forgive not so much for the person whom we feel has done us an injustice, we forgive for ourselves. There is tremendous freedom in taking full responsibility for your life. You are no longer waiting for someone else to change or some circumstance to right itself, only in this state do we truly experience peace and freedom .

The truth of the matter is that there is nothing to forgive because our true state is one of perfection however the act of forgiveness clears away the energy of shame and blame, re-awakening us to our true natures.

A simple prayer of Ho’oponopono can be adapted to your daily life with immediate results. Ho’oponopono is a Hawaiian system of healing. Think of this prayer as a spiritual and mental cleansing mechanism. One of the precepts I love about this amazing healing system is that is only requires your desire and willingness to practice the prayer on a daily basis. The benefits are so far reaching that within days and weeks you will be greatly encouraged to continue your practice.

This system of prayer was perfected by Kahuna Lapa’au Morrnah Nalamaku Simeona who passed this extraordinary system of prayer and healing to Dr. Hew Len a clinical physiologist by education and through the practice of ho’oponopono has become a living master. Practicing this powerful form of prayer you must assume 100% responsibility for everything you experience in your life.

How else would Dr. Hew Lin 30 years ago heal a ward of mentally ill criminals at the Hawaiian Sate Hospital. Not so much by healing them directly but by taking full responsibility for their actions by viewing their medical records and practicing the Ho’oponopono prayer until there was a complete healing. The full story is outlined in Joe Vitale, “Zero Limits the Secret Hawaiian System for Wealth, Health, Peace and More.”

Another great teacher who studied with Dr. Hew Lin is Mabel Katz who is currently teaching Ho’oponopono. She has an array of tools under the name “The Easiest Way”. I highly recommend these tools which provide reinforcement for establishing the prayer process as a daily habit.

The prayer simply goes like this, “I’m sorry, please forgive me, thank you and I love you.”

Another powerful group of teachings is the “Course in Miracles” whose teaching are totally centered around forgiveness, to heal and lift the veil of forgetfulness to our true natures. I will do a posts in the future on the “Course in Miracles” including some great resource materials.

For now start practicing the prayer process of Ho’oponopono and I strongly encourage you to get Joe Vitale’s book “Zero Limits” to support you in your journey.

May peace and health be with you always through practicing forgiveness.
